Remarks & Notes
After setting out two cars in St. John, Palouse River & Coulee City's empty grain train completes its horseshoe-shaped journey through Pleasant Valley, approaching the summit of the northerly ridge line. In the distance, above the ninth car, is the deep cut through which the train entered the valley 25 minutes earlier. The PV Sub will shortly join Cottonwood Creek for the run to Sunset before climbing over one last ridge to reach the end of track at Thornton.
