| "Merchant Navy" Pacific 35029 "Ellerman Lines" was withdrawn from main line service in 1966,and entered preservation. A few years ago someone had the idea to section the loco as an educational aid to demonstrating how a steam locomotive works. The half-loco is now on display at the National Railway Museum,in York. |
