NS 204 having cleared the area by half an hour or so, they had trouble with the lead unit once again. During the time that the dispatcher, 204 crew, and mechanical operations were chatting on the airwaves, I am sure I missed NS 212 call out some signals. So without any known presence of another Northbound train this morning I was about to pack it up and head home when in the distance I was able to decipher the familiar rumble of a set of locomotives... " music to my ears by the way ", a talent in which you really only get having lived by railroad tracks your whole life. I am so glad I stayed!
