| On a sunny summer morning, Amtrak 573 heads north along the Pacific Ocean. Today, this train is running with a set of low level equipment, necesitated by longer trains during the Del Mar Horse Race season. Amtrak 90230, once F40 230 leads the train today. While this NPCU likely has not been on the Surf Line in years, it was once part of the LA pool as an F40 and was regularly on San Diegans. |
