The March 7, 1981 Family Lines Rail System Safety Express ran round trip from Orlando, Fl to Ybor City (Tampa), a distance of about 90 miles one way. Chesapeake & Ohio 614 was the power for this trip. Chesapeake & Ohio Class J-3a 614 was built by Lima in June 1948. She has 72 inch drivers, boiler pressure of 255 lbs, 27.5 x 30 inch Cylinders and can deliver 68,300 pounds of tractive effort. After running the wye in Tampa, C&O 614 leaves at 3:15pm for the return trip to Orlando, scheduled to arrive at 5:45pm.
