| This is Arnold's Loop on Silver Zone Pass in eastern Nevada, built by the Western Pacific Ry. to keep their maximum mainline grade to 1%. The crossing of the pass is in two track levels that reverse direction at the loop. It is now the Union Pacific Shafter Sub. |
