Remarks & Notes
Southbound Amtrak Regional P067 was crossing from No. 3 to No. 2 track at Milford, VA on April 18, 2011 to pass southbound freight Q415, stopped ahead to deal with some dragging metal bands. P067 was led by Amtrak P42 No. 156, in a reconstituted "bloody nose" scheme. Milford, once bustling with industry and good for several hours of switching by RF&P's Acca Local, today largely sets quiet, except for passing trains. That may change. The U. S. Army has proposed running passenger trains to Milford, transporting soldiers to nearby Fort A. P. Hill. At this point, it has not been determined exactly where the station would be located. The former RF&P freight station in the distance is now privately owned.
