| Kind of a rare situation to see these days, CSX Train W030 passes by Shiplock Park with Engine #8048 still wearing the old YN1 Paint scheme. This 3,000 horsepower SD40-2 unit was built in 1979 for Seaboard Railway with roster #8048.
Second in command is CSX #8352 an SD40-2 that was originally built in 1971 as a SD40 unit for the Clinchfield Railroad with roster #3018. It later became part of the Seaboard Railway locomotive roster #8293 before eventually being merged in with CSX. March 2011. |
