The LS&I "3:00 PM Eagle Mills Yard Job" had just gone on duty and was performing its first job of the day, setting out bad order cars. The red building in the background, above the ore gennies, was the office of the LS&I Control Operator and was a good place to get a line up, to let someone know that you would be on the property and that you had a pass.
