Dynamic braking for all they're worth, 5 GEs ease all of loaded westbound potash train 671's 142 cars down the Big Hill. (2 on the headend, two scattered mid-train, and one on the rear) This view is looking down the Kicking Horse river valley towards Field, and was stitched from 2 images, giving about a 12mm view. The trans-Canada highway is on the right. On the right side of the picture, Mt. Stephen's shadow covers much of the valley, even though it's mid-day in fall.
