Merry Christmas from Maine! Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Locomotive #10 utilizes the 3-way switch at the north end of the Sheepscot Yard to switch onto a shop track. She's about to begin making up the day's passenger consist for the annual Victorian Christmas event. Although there was no snow to speak of this year, there was plenty of brisk, cold weather, making for some beautiful steam plumes. As an added bonus, the museum recently took delivery of some coal from the same source used by the Mt. Washington Cog Railway. As can be seen in this shot, this stuff was tailor-made for photo charters!
