Remarks & Notes

A westbound C&O local freight train slowly traverses the Buckingham Subdivision at Gold Hill, VA on January 9, 1984. As with usual C&O practice on local freights in Virginia, two cabooses were used, one next to the engines and one on the rear of the train. This is now the Buckingham Division of the Buckingham Branch Railroad.
