| On Friday CP ran an extra #252 to lift interchange at Mohawk Yard in Glenville, NY. Normally this train rates two or three GE “Widebodys” and some EMD trailers but on this day Power from an Ethanol train that was delivered to VTR at Whitehall, NY found itself as the power for this train. The ICE SD’s that are trailing may mark the first time these units have ran for there new owner on CP’s “South End”. The Train is seen bearing down on the Main Street Crossing in the Village of Delanson bathed in the light of a low and fast setting fall sun. The Siding that can be seen on the left is used to interchange traffic between Canadian Pacific and SMS Lines. The three Autoracks will be picked up in the morning by SMS local NE-1 based out of the Northeast Industrial Park in Guilderland Center, NY. |
