Passing a stand of colorful leaf trees, train 1 is making its way north on a late September morning in 1997. F's 1752 and 1750 are trailed by a couple leased VIA coaches and a rather scrambled up train, with the baggage cars in the middle and a heavyweight business car bringing up the rear. The colorful trees leave little doubt as to why the ACR fall passenger excursions were so popular.
