| This is the first train in three years to come down this line. This transformer is for the Excel Energy Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant and is being pushed in for the last couple miles of the trip. This 20 axle schnabel car is owned by Consumers Energy, a Michigan based power company. All the crossings are exempt in Monticello. As you can see the crossing signals no longer work. |
