| The GP16s which were once the back bone for locals along with GE U23Bs, U18Bs and other older models are now in the history books along with their many paint schemes. These units which were rebuilt from GP7s by Family Lines performed their duties well untill their retirement in the mid 90s. Some still survive on short lines such as the Buckingham Branch Railroad in Virginia. |
