Remarks & Notes

A westbound empty is chasing Amtrak west out of Burlington, IA. This empty came off the Hannibal Sub at Burlington and just passed MP 231 as they come into Mt. Pleasant. This empty is only 26 miles into their trip out of Burlington, but is already 35 minutes behind Amtrak. Still 162 miles to Creston, IA, and next crew change.
