| FEC 224 running with a rare long hood forward configuration snakes through historic St. Augustine. Thanks to Larry and Noel down south for the heads up. Right here is Moultrie Junction with the original main line of the FEC heading westward behind this train while 224 curves in from the Moultrie Cutoff, built in 1926 and is now the main line. The old main is the Wilbur Wright lead terminating about 5 miles away to the southwest of this location. |
