| The Cedar Rapids turn has pulled up to the east switch at Homestead making ready to pick up GP38-2 704 and an extra Cedar Rapids turn tied down on the Homestead Siding. The conductor has checked the coupler on 704 and walks toward the switch. To the right of the picture is all that remains of a Rock Island signal with the mile marker still visible. |
