| Every year around easter, a steam hauled railtour - the Great Britain - travels the length and bredth of the UK. On the 2010 Scottish legs, BR Standard Pacific 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' was the loco in charge. Here it is seen shortly after passing over the Tay Bridge.
Incidentally, 70013 was one of the locomotives to work the '15 Guinea Special' in 1968; British Railways' last ever revenue earning steam trip. |
