Remarks & Notes
This Union Pacific Steel Caboose - Class CA-13-2, originally built for the CRI&P in 1967, but in this scene it is adorned in UP's Armor Yellow. During the seventies and eighties, employee contributed safety slogans adorned many cabooses and locomotives. Thanks to Don Stracks Utah Rails site for caboose info. This caboose is currently in storage at Cheyenne, Wy.

Have you ever watched cabooses, enjoyed their uniqueness, wondered about the men inside, or the jobs they do? Once an everyday sight on the rails, they have decreased in numbers, yet they are a very important part of railroad history.
