Baretables from Oakland (which have traveled over Altamont Pass, down the Valley Sub, and across the Saugus Line) wait for a new crew at Main Street in Los Angeles along the river, on their way to Long Beach. Empty COFC trains from Oakland have a number of routes that they make take, including over the Coast Line, the Saugus Line, and hypothetically the Palmdale Cutoff. If seen here, they have come via the Coast or Saugus. This spot is historically Glendale Jct, where the UP and SP split on different lines to Glendale. Now only the SP line still exists, but it is UP.
