| This BNSF coal train is headed south on the elevated TRRA trackage at the St. Louis riverfront. The impressive backdrop is the Union Power and Light steam generating plant (which still generates steam to heat buildings in downtown St. Louis). If you look closely, you can see the name right on the building, done in ornate brickwork. The train's final destination is the Ameren power plant at Rush Island, MO. |
