| On the Tuesday following TrainFestival in Michigan, I had several free hours in Chicago between the first and second legs of my Amtrak trip home. Knowing that Metra was operating their two remaining F40Cs while the F40PHs were cycled out for overhaul, I made the short walk from Union Station to Lake Street hoping to catch them. Both #611 and #614 passed my location within minutes of each other, even finding some brief sunshine in between the clouds. |
