Another day in Africa......I arrived at Battery siding to photograph the eastbound container train I had been chasing, only to find this herd of Nguni cattle about to cross the tracks! The herders smiled broadly when I warned them of the approaching train, but they got their charges across in time. The string of petrol tankers were temporarily stored here, waiting to be moved to the fuel depot at Tarlton.
