The old SP&S grade has been turned into a biking and hiking path from Pasco to Spokane. Although it was a well engineered (grade and curve wise) line, the cuts were narrow and prone to rock slides, and as seen here near Cheney, had streams running through them. Though it's sad to see the line gone, it's no surprise the BN abandoned it.
