| It's 8:30 AM and the Durango & Silverton's Sunday Photo Special is running out ahead of the regular trains today. In this scene, Locomotive #473, an Alco K-28, brings the mixed photo consist around the curve approaching the US 550 Overpass just north of Hermosa. Within 15 minutes she'll pass Rockwood Cut and head out into the San Juan National Forest for a long day of photography. |
