Remarks & Notes
Construction of the Cane Creek Subdivision through Utah's Bootlegger Canyon is truly a marvel of engineering. Here the Friday afternoon 'Potash Turn' creeps across 'the shelf' approaching the massive sandstone cut at milepost 31. The local will soon break free of the canyon and run downstream, parallel to the Colorado River last few miles to the loadout at Intrepid Potash.
