Unusually found on non-coal train duties in such numbers, three SD45s, 5333, 5317, 5319 with 3051 await departure on a westbound freight from Minturn Yard in September 1981. After setting off the train didn't get far, with the air hoses coming adrift between the two Soo Line cars just above the second SD45 - luckily they were passing the photographer at the time, so a quick drive down to the head end probably saved the crew several minutes searching for the break.
