Remarks & Notes

The Station Inn at Ribblehead has provided a welcome haven for generations of travelers. First the Irish (as navvies who built the place), then the British (naturally), presumably the occasional Welsh (in passing). The 'Scot' will have an awkward detour though! The famous viaduct is but a few yards in front of the locomotive.
