Remarks & Notes
The Flagman on an empty southbound C&O coal train has just snatched his running orders off the "Iron Man," which will direct his train's movement over the Toledo Terminal Railroad. This train will run over the "Terminal" to Walbridge, where it will diverge onto "home" rails and continue south to be loaded once again. Hallett tower was the "end of the line" for the former Pere Marquette line from Michigan, which kept the Hallett operator busy copying and hanging train orders for all southbound trains and ocassionally some northbounds as well.
