Remarks & Notes
A fisherman is waist deep in the West Branch Delaware River as an EB stack sweeps around the big curve at Hale Eddy, located exactly halfway between the Villages of Deposit, NY and Hancock, NY. MP 170 (miles from Jersey City) is just to the right of the engines. This is the former Erie Lackawanna Susquehanna Division, a route favored by CR for stacks in the late 80's and early 90's prior to River Line improvements. The decal on the nose reads "Labor Management Project-- Working Together For Safety Service Success".
