Remarks & Notes
The sight of any locomotive, let alone a Great Western 'Hall' in an inauthentic livery is designed to give any self-respecting British enthusiast a 'dose of the vapours'. The owners of 'Olton Hall', no doubt convinced by a fistful of Harry Potter dollars, were persuaded that red might be a good idea. Hmmm . . . At least the poppies came out in sympathy! On the return leg from Scarborough, 5972 in charge of the 'Scarborough Spa Express' strides briskly towards York.
