Remarks & Notes
These 'S160' 2-8-0 locomotives were built by ALCO, Baldwin Locomotive Company and Lima Locomotive Company for the United States Army Transportation Corps (USATC). 5197 was built as Lima works no.8856 in 1945 and was shipped to China in 1945. She hauled coal trains there until the mid 1990s as Chinese State Railway's class 'KD6' No 463. She was restored, entering service in 1999 moving to the CVR in February in 2001. She is one of four in the UK but the only one presently in traffic.
