| Third unit in the consist was the lead unit on this days BARJAC, the computer failed midway through the Cajon x-overs while heading west. They called a pair helpers out of San Bernardino to try and get this train down off the hill so they could deal with the problem somewhere other than their mainline. The DS had his hands full this day. That day three computers on three separate trains failed on the mountain—all were GE. |
