Remarks & Notes
The Jiayang Coal Railway is only 25 km long, but it passes through some very picturesque countryside. Because of lack of road access it offers a regular passenger service. Unlike other Chinese ng. lines local authorities have recognized the railway's tourist potential and it does not face imminent closure. As in much of southern China the weather is often grotty, but on this day the sun was shining.
