| Progressive's SD39 No. 40 ambles towards Northfield on the return trip from Lakeville. This unit was built for the Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern in 1968 and worked this very line in regular service into the 1980s. When the Soo Line purchased the MN&S, it became Soo 6240. Today it's been restored to its original colors by owner Progressive Rail. Thanks to Steve Glischinski for sharing this hard to find photo spot with us! |
