| A line up of high speed power at Paddington station.
Up front is a Paxman Valenta class 43 HST, behind it are 2 newer but less reliable Adelante DMU's. All were living on borrowed time, the HST lost its beautiful Valenta engine and the Adelante's are all scheduled to be retired this year. Interesting coincidence that this happens to be my 43rd photo on RP! |
