Travel Town's collection includes this 1987 Fairmont Gang Speeder (probably a model A8). It was built by Fairmont Railway Motors, Inc. of Fairmont, MN and is powered by a 1974 Ford Pinto engine. This one worked for the US Navy. Gang cars moved track workers, tools, and often a trailer to the job site. As an aside, with that EMD dinky behind it, ths pic is an unintentional Ford versus Chevy moment.
