These out of service rails were once used by the mighty Pennsylvania Railroad on the Bel-Del Branch running along the Delaware & Raritan Canal. After being briefly used by the Black River & Western Railroad in the 90's, they were left to be reclaimed by Mother Nature. Can you believe this is New Jersey?
