Remarks & Notes 
The house switcher at "Scraporano" was a Pennsy S12, which shunted locomotives around that were going to the torch. The unit was purchased as scrap from the Penn Central, but the folks at Naporano discovered that it still ran fairly well, so they put it to work for a number of years, before it was finally scrapped itself. The unit was originally delivered to the Pennsylvania in 1954, making it a young 25-years-old in this shot.
