| Stars shine over KCS's "new" Fort Smith depot. A KCS transfer truck sits under the awning built for buses (note the curb lettering). Building to the right is the KCS Transport shop. Bus service to Sallisaw ended with the end of passenger service. Everything else was removed about 10 years ago when the highway curves were straightened. photo taken in the 1980s. |
