Remarks & Notes
To commemorate the sixty-six Union Pacific employee/reservists who were called to active duty for "Operation Desert Storm," Union Pacific painted SD40-2 3593 (ex-8084) into this distinctive camouflage scheme. This engine wore this paint job from 2/27/91 to 10/11/91. The engine, teamed with UP SD40-2 3905 and GECX C30-S7 3008, is seen leading a freight over Cajon Pass on March 23, 1991.
