Remarks & Notes
Departing Alamosa for a trip over La Veta Pass. Former SP 2-6-0 1744 made several excursion runs in the SF Bay area in the mid-50's. Put on display in Corrinne, Utah, the engine later ran on the "Heber Creeper". Later sold and sold again, the engine was rebuilt for a Louisianna dinner train which failed. Now, hopefully a permanent home in Alamosa.
