Remarks & Notes 
I rode #13, a mail train, early morning out of Newark to Altoona, my usual method of getting there. On my first trip there, our power on the electrified segment was a 2-D-2 electric class R1, #4999. At Harrisburg, these Baldwin beasts were assigned the run to Pittsburgh. The "T" in the model designation indicates semi-permanently coupled ("twin").
