| The Westbound San Francisco Zephyr (as it was then known) has an SP SD40 added due to adverse weather on the Donner Pass. Seen just after passing thru Dutch Flat, one of SP's home built dome cars is part of the consist. This shot is impossible today as the trees have grown so tall as to completely block the view. |
