Remarks & Notes
The Oyster Bay Branch was the closest LIRR line to my home where I could see diesels. The L-2 class C420's 224-229 were the last of the Alco's on the LIRR, with the exception of the FA "powerpacks". These C420's has hi-aid trucks, unlike the first order (200-221) and looked good in the fresh paint scheme of that era.
