| This is the C&O Allegheny type at the B&O Railroad Museum. The sophistication of the steam piping on this locomotive is the most complex of any I have seen. A Big Boy looks relatively simple but sleek compared to the Allegheny. This engine would have been a sight to see in action, it is some piece of engineering and design. |
