Remarks & Notes
A westbound E44-powered mineral train passes under the Atglen and Susquehanna "low grade" signal bridge at the west end of Marietta, near Decatur Street. No. 4426 was built by GE for the PRR in November 1961. The smoke on the left was from a nearby factory. Image scanned from a slide shot on my East German Exakta VX-500 and developed in my high school railfan buddy's basement. (Thanks to fellow railfan Jim S for helping me to "get the red out" of a nearly 5-decade-old Ektachrome.)
